Meet the Governors

Our Governors

The Governing Body is made up of volunteers who represent the school community (Parent and Staff Governors), the wider community (Co-opted Governors) and the local authority (Local Authority Governors). Governors are matched to committees and linked to a particular school phase or section of our school improvement plan according to their skills and experience.

The Governing Body has significant experience in the following areas:

  • Education (Teaching and Leadership)
  • Education (School improvement)
  • Civil service
  • IT & Technology
  • Safeguarding
  • Enterprise and entrepreneurship

The Governors also use their personal connections and interests to enhance school life, eg. by facilitating learning opportunities which complement the school’s creative curriculum.

Anyone wishing to contact the Governors can do so in writing via the school office or email at governorinbox@oswaldroad.manchester.sch.uk
