Clubs follow the same pattern every school year. Clubs do not run on the first week of each full term and the last week of the school year. Clubs run as normal after every half term holiday right up until the Christmas and Easter holidays.

All clubs currently run on a full termly basis. Termly dates are shared as part of the booking information sheet which is sent to parents ahead of the term.

All afterschool clubs except the following run from 3:30pm-4:30pm.

Hoot Camp After School Sessions – 3.15pm – 5pm

Comedy Club runs from 3:15pm-4:45pm.

Press Gang (Year 5) runs from 3:30-4:15pm.

Sewing Club (Years 4-6) runs from 3:30-4:15pm.

Year 6 Girls’ Code Club runs from 12:30pm–1pm. If your child normally has lunch at this time, they will eat their lunch at 1pm.

Please note, external clubs will ask you to provide a pick-up password for your child.

Pick up:

Pick up takes place for all clubs (except Hoot Camp) from the Astroturf pitch at the times specified above. Parents to enter via Oswald Road gate.

Hoot Camp children are dismissed from the Year 1 playground. Please enter via the Nicolas Road entrance.

An email is sent to parents/carers every term detailing all the clubs on offer and booking information, including when bookings will open. Please ensure you book early to avoid disappointment as we do have high demand for club places. Some clubs take payment via School Spider, and some clubs have their own booking systems in place. Please refer to the booking emails for more detailed instructions. If you miss the booking deadline, please contact the club organisers directly to enquire about remaining places.

Club leads will usually be in touch to confirm your child’s place. If you book a club via School Spider, please take that as automatic confirmation of your child’s place.

For our internal free clubs, you will receive email confirmation via from school.

Please note that all external clubs are required to ask you for additional information about your child. This includes emergency contact details, a pick-up password and any SEND and health needs. Your child will not be able to attend the club unless you provide this information when asked.

If you would like to cancel your child’s place on a club, or have any queries about refunds, please contact the club organisers directly, even if you have paid for the club via School Spider.
